# Deleting your Seller Account

You can permanently delete your Seller Account data through a wizard.
Alternatively, you can contact support to delete your Seller Account.




PREPARATION FOR SELLER ACCOUNT DELETION

Before you delete your Seller Account, make sure you complete the following:

 * Cancel your subscription

 * Transfer all your uploads

 * Delete all your discounts

 * Disable all your ads

 * Delete all your watermarks

 * Download any music files from your order if you have not already

 * If you want a copy of your account data, you can request your account data
   [https://support-museable.help.center/article/1016-requesting-account-data]

 * Make sure the destination Seller Account receives any upload transfers before
   deleting your account

 * Make sure you receive all your pending payouts with Museable Payments before
   deleting your account

> Note: Deleting your Seller Account will also delete the associated Museable
> Payments account. Keep in mind that you won't be able to setup Museable
> Payments with the same email address from your previous deleted associated
> Museable Payments account.

> Example: You registered a Seller Account and setup Museable Payments with the
> email address, example@example.com. Now, you delete your Seller Account which
> deletes the associated Museable Payments account. This means that next time
> you setup Museable Payments, you cannot use the email "example@example.com"
> since it was used previously with your associated deleted Museable Payments
> account.



REQUESTING DELETION OF YOUR SELLER ACCOUNT

 1. From the dashboard on the left side panel, click on Settings > Delete
    account.

 2. Click the Delete this account button.

 3. Follow the instructions on the Seller Account deletion wizard to proceed.

 4. In the verification section, enter your Account ID and account email
    address.

 5. After you complete the wizard, you will be redirected to a success screen.

> Note: If you proceed with the deletion using a false or invalid Account ID,
> your account will be restored from the deletion cycle and you will have to
> contact support to delete your account instead.
