# Seller Uploading Guidelines

These guidelines help us set a standard for the catalog of music available on
our platform. As long as you comply with the Seller Uploading Guidelines, your
upload should be approved without any issues promptly.



Here's what we'll be looking for when you publish your upload:



1. Accuracy and Completeness:

 * Submitted sheet music must be accurate, complete, and reflect the intended
   musical composition faithfully.

 * Ensure correct notations, key signatures, time signatures, dynamics, and
   other musical elements.

2. Legibility and Formatting:

 * Sheet music should be legible with clear notations and appropriate
   formatting.

 * Choose fonts and sizes that enhance readability. Consider proper spacing and
   layout.

3. Originality and Copyright Compliance:

 * Sheet music must be original, or creators must have proper licensing for any
   copyrighted material.

 * Museable does not allow the submission of plagiarized or infringing content.

4. Music Preview:

 * If your upload uses Music Preview, the preview should be an accurate and
   clear audio preview that corresponds to the submitted sheet music.

 * Ensure the audio quality is suitable for user evaluation.

5. File Formats:

 * Acceptable file formats include PDF for sheet music and standard audio
   formats (e.g. MP3, WAV) for audio previews.

 * For music thumbnails or additional images for your music, standard raster
   files are acceptable (e.g. PNG, JPG, JPEG, Web).

 * Clearly label and organize multiple files if applicable. This will help our
   team and your customers navigate faster through the files of your music.

6. Instrumentation and Arrangement:

 * Clearly specify the intended instrumentation for the sheet music.

 * If applicable, indicate any alternative arrangements or transpositions
   provided in the description.

7. Engagement and User Experience:

 * Consider the overall engagement and user experience of the sheet music.

 * Submit compositions that are engaging, interesting, and suitable for our
   diverse user base.

8. Clarity of Instructions:

 * Include any special instructions or performance notes within the sheet music.

 * Clarify any nuances or details that may affect the interpretation of the
   composition.

9. Exclusivity and Prior Publication:

 * As an optional step, you can clarify whether the sheet music is exclusive to
   Museable or if it has been previously published elsewhere in the description.

 * Be transparent about any existing licensing agreements.

10. Content details and Metadata:

 * Provide accurate and relevant details to help users find your sheet music.

 * Include relevant metadata, such as composer information and copyright
   details.

11. Language and Descriptions:

 * Use clear and descriptive language in your submissions to help users
   understand the nature of the sheet music.

 * Provide concise but informative descriptions.

12. Responsiveness to Feedback:

 * Be open to feedback provided by Museable's content evaluation team.

 * If revisions are requested, promptly address and resubmit improved versions.

13. Compliance with Museable Policies:

 * Ensure compliance with Museable's terms of service and other policies.

 * Violations may result in the rejection of uploads and potential account
   actions.

14. Accessibility:

 * Consider accessibility in your submissions to accommodate a broad range of
   users, including those with disabilities.

15. Educational Value:

 * Encourage submissions with educational value, supporting learners and music
   enthusiasts.
